Choosing Your Companions Wisely
He who knows not and knows not he knows not: he is a fool--shun him.
He who knows not and knows he knows not: he is simple--teach him.
He who knows and knows not he knows: he is asleep--wake him.

There is so much good in the worst of us,

It's time for you to set sail
There's a news story that I saw on Yahoo about a woman with quadriplegia sailing solo across the English Channel. At first I was thinking that this was pretty cool, until I read that she used sip and puff technology to control her boat. That moved it right up to amazing. Here's my interpretation, She likes boating, she has a disability, she's not easily dissuaded. That's a pretty simple yet very profound lesson. What do I want to do? What are my aspirations? How hard do I have to work to acheive them? Setting lofty, yet attainable goals give me something to work for that I can truly feel accomplished about acheiving.
My favorite part of the story is that she is not content to simply reach France, her goal is to circumnavigate Britain.
So, what's keeping you from setting sail? "I can't" doesn't cut it! The power of determination and attitude is what gets you to the other shore. Reaching my goals is the motivation, being willing to work with determination and a right attitude is the only way I'll get there.
Read the story for yourself here.
